House burgled at Changzamtok
Lost USD 5,000 and a camcorder

Police are invstigatinga burglary case where a house at the Royal Institute of Health (RIHS) colony was robbed of about USD 5,000 and a camcorder.
This incident happened when the victim and her family went to their village (Jemina) on Saturday. They came back at 9.30 pm. The woman opened the door and went to toilet, suddenly her husband shouted, “The house has been robbed.”
The family members were surprised and they all went to check their own rooms. One of the victims, the mother said that all the things were untouched and everything looks nice but the moneybox was opened. She added that USD 5000 and a video camera were missing from her house. “The money was for our daughter’s school fee studying in Bangkok,” she said.
They didn’t touch any things and called the police. She said a knife was found near the box.
The woman said she went to neighbour’s house and enquired about her house but nobody knew about the incident. “The spare key which her daughter kept on the sitting room table was missing,” she said, “She found the key on the window in the morning.”
A neighbour told her that she saw a boy was sitting near her house but she didn’t talk to him.
“We had lived here for many years and nothing had happened,” the woman said. She added that they keep the key in the flowerpot near the door and sometimes hang the key on the neck of the dogs.
She said that she doubted her sons, and went looking for them. “They were surprised to know about the incident still then she took them to police station to see their finger print,” she said.
The victim has reported the case to the police along with the CCTV footage.
